Activities High Priority Needs Volunteer Interest Form

At the current time, we are in desperate need of help in the following areas:

Feeders:

Time commitment is minimal - reliability a must - and it's fun!

  • In El SobranteOne or two more dynamic cat people needed to join our TLC team in El Sobrante near Contra Costa College. We feed and TNR cats at several locations. Meet some great people and wonderful cats. Contact: Susan Mulloy 234-1702
  • In Richmond: need for feeders one day a week to feed 3 groups of cats in the San Pablo Avenue and MacDonald Ave. area of Richmond
Please contact Susan at 234-1702 or email megwich@hotmail.com.
  • In Oakland:  We need feeders for one stop near Home Depot on High Street in Oakland for a colony of about 6-8 cats. It's a very quick in and out feeding generally without hassles and also very accessible to the 880 freeway if someone commutes past there. If you can help, please email pams_94107@yahoo.com.
  • In Fremont: We are in need of responsible volunteers to help feed in several areas in Fremont.  If you can help, please email kay1931@hotmail.com
  • In Martinez: We are in need of responsible adults to feed and monitor feral and forgotten cats at several sites - both weekdays and weekends are available. Please call (925) 837-7291 if you can help.
Garage space needed to recover cats after spay/neuter this Spring. If you have a space our trappers can use, please call (925) 837-7291.
  • In Danville: We are in need of responsible adults to feed and monitor homeless cats on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Please call (925) 837-7291 if you can help.

    Foster Homes:
The Feral Cat Foundation is in need of good foster homes for tame but homeless kittens and cats. Foster families provide much-needed shelter and care for these wonderful felines until they find their "forever" home - and we cannot rescue them without this "temporary housing". FCF provides the medical care - you provide the love. If you can help in any of the following areas, please contact us.

Transportation:
We need people who are free during the daytime either Wed. or Fri. in the Oakland area to take foster kittens to the OSPCA on Hegenberger to be fixed. Drop off 7-8 am, pickup about 4pm. It would be a little driving around to pick them up and drop them off at their homes.  If you can help, please email pams_94107@yahoo.com.
